# Deleting your Dodo account

_How to delete your account in the Dodo app and what happens to your data_

## In the app

- **iPhone:** open Dodo → Profile (the circle in the top right corner) → **Delete Account** at the bottom → confirm.
- **Android:** open Dodo → Profile → **Delete Account** at the bottom → confirm.

The account is deleted right away and all your phones are signed out. You'll get a confirmation e-mail at the account's address.

## Without the app

Write to **systems@n3osystem.io** from the e-mail address you use to sign in to Dodo, with the subject “Delete account”. If you sign in with Apple using a hidden address, include your Dodo ID (Profile → Your Dodo ID). We'll delete the account within 30 days at the latest and confirm it by e-mail.

## What we delete

- Your account: name, e-mail address, Dodo ID, sign-in methods (Apple, Google, e-mail) and sessions on all your phones.
- Your profile photo.
- Data synced between your phones.
- Lists, notes, budgets and expense splits you share with others — they also disappear for the people you share them with.
- Your membership in other people's shared lists. What you added to them stays with them as part of their lists.
- Invitations you sent and received, and notification tokens.

## What stays

- **Data on your phone** — tasks, notes and budget saved on your phone stay there. Remove them by uninstalling the app.
- **Your Dodo Premium subscription** — deleting the account doesn't cancel it. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play (see [Support](https://dodo.n3osystem.io/support)).
- **Purchase records** (transaction ID, product and date) — kept for the period required by tax law.
- **Technical server logs** (IP address, request metadata) — deleted automatically after a short time.
