## How it works: Shopping in three steps

1. **Create a list** — Like “Groceries” or “BBQ”. Add items and, if you like, prices.
2. **Invite your household** — Send an invite by email or link. A free Dodo account is all you need for a shared list.
3. **Shop together** — A checked-off item is bought for everyone, and a notification tells you who added what.

### How do I share a shopping list?

Open the list and tap the share button. Invite someone by email, their Dodo ID or a link, and they join in the Dodo app on iPhone or Android.

### Is the shared shopping list free?

Yes. With a free Dodo account you can share one shopping list and one wishlist. Dodo Premium adds more shared lists.

### Does a shared list work between iPhone and Android?

Yes. Everyone uses Dodo on their own phone, and changes reach everyone whatever system they use.

### How do I know someone added something?

Dodo sends a short notification saying who changed what on a shared list. You can turn notifications off in the app's Settings.

### Can I add items with the AI assistant?

Yes, with Dodo Premium. Type or say something like “add milk and bread to my shopping list”. You can do the same in Claude or ChatGPT once your Dodo account is connected.
