# Dodo Support _Answers to common questions about the app, accounts, sharing, Premium, Claude and ChatGPT — and how to reach us_ ## Dodo at a glance ### What is Dodo? Dodo is an app for iPhone and Android that keeps tasks with reminders, notes, shopping and wish lists, expenses, subscriptions and shared costs in one place. It is made by n3o system sp. z o.o., a company based in Poland. ### Which phones does Dodo work on? On iPhone with iOS 17 or later (iPhone XS and XR or newer) and on phones with Android 9 or later. Get it from the App Store or Google Play. ### Is Dodo free? Yes. You download and use the app for free, even without an account. Only Dodo Premium is paid — an optional subscription in the App Store or Google Play. The app shows the price in your currency before you buy. Premium has no free trial. ### Does Dodo work offline? Yes. Tasks, notes and your budget are stored on your phone and work without a connection. You need the internet for your account, sync, shared lists, emails and the AI assistant. ### Does Dodo show ads or track me? No. Dodo shows no ads, doesn't track or profile you and doesn't sell your data. The details are in the [Privacy Policy](https://dodo.n3osystem.io/privacy). ## Account and sync ### Do I need an account to use Dodo? No. Without an account everything stays on your phone and we have no access to it. You create a free account with Apple, Google or a one-time code from your email, with no password. You need an account for sharing and sync. ### How do I sync an iPhone and an Android phone? Sync between phones is part of Dodo Premium. Sign in to the same Dodo account on every phone — the same tasks, notes and budget appear on iPhone and Android, and Profile shows the sync status. To use an account created on iPhone with Apple on Android, connect it with a code: on the iPhone choose Profile → Connect Another Phone. ### How do I move Dodo to a new phone? With an account and Premium, just sign in on the new phone — sync downloads your data. Without sync, your phone's backup (iCloud or Google) moves the data if you have it turned on. Restore your subscription in the app: Premium → Restore Purchases. ### How do I delete my Dodo account? In the app choose Profile → Delete Account. Data on your phone stays; data on our server is deleted. You can also delete your account without the app — see [Delete your account](https://dodo.n3osystem.io/delete-account). ## Sharing ### How do I share a shopping list, a note or a budget? Open the list, note or budget and tap the share button. Invite someone by email, by their Dodo ID or with a link; the person you invite joins in the Dodo app. Sharing needs a free Dodo account. ### How much can I share without Premium? With a free account you can share one item of each kind: one task list, one note, one shopping list, one wish list, one Shared Costs group and one subscription. Dodo Premium gives you more and adds a shared budget. ### Do others see my changes right away? Yes. Changes to shared lists, notes and budgets reach everyone else when their app syncs. People who allow notifications get a short note about who changed what. You can turn notifications off in the app's Settings. ### What is Shared Costs? Shared Costs settles expenses for a group, for example a trip with friends: you add people and expenses, and Dodo works out who owes whom and how much. Dodo doesn't handle payments between people. ## Dodo Premium ### What does Dodo Premium include? - the AI assistant with 100 uses a month and AI commands in notes, - receipts from a photo — the shop, date, total and items fill in by themselves, - sync between your phones, including between iPhone and Android (with a Dodo account), - a shared budget and unlimited shared lists, notes and Shared Costs groups, - the Dodo connection to Claude and ChatGPT (with a Dodo account). ### How do I cancel Dodo Premium? On iPhone open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Dodo Premium. On Android open Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends — Premium keeps working until the end of the paid period. ### How do I restore Premium on a new phone? The subscription belongs to your Apple ID or Google account. Open Dodo → Premium → Restore Purchases. ### How do I get a refund for Premium? Payments are handled by the App Store or Google Play. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com or in Google Play. ### What happens when my AI uses run out? The pool of 100 uses renews on the first day of each month. Before that you can add a pack of 50 or 150 uses — packs don't expire and keep working after Premium ends. ## Claude and ChatGPT With Dodo Premium you can connect your Dodo account to Claude or ChatGPT and ask about your tasks, notes, shopping and expenses there — for example “what do I have tomorrow?”, “add milk to my shopping list” or “how much did I spend on food in October?”. ### What do I need to connect Dodo to Claude or ChatGPT? A Dodo account with sync turned on and an active Dodo Premium subscription. Questions from Claude and ChatGPT don't use your Dodo AI assistant pool. ### How do I add Dodo to Claude? In Claude open Customize → Connectors → + Add → Add custom connector. Enter the name “Dodo” and the address `https://dodo.n3osystem.io/mcp`, choose Continue, then Add and Connect. On Claude's free plan you can have one custom connector. ### How do I add Dodo to ChatGPT? Open chatgpt.com/plugins → + → Add custom MCP server. Enter the name “Dodo” and the address `https://dodo.n3osystem.io/mcp`, confirm the warning and choose Create as a plugin. Whether custom connectors work on your ChatGPT plan is up to OpenAI. ### Where do I get the connection code? When the Dodo page opens, go to Profile → Claude and ChatGPT → Connect to Claude / ChatGPT in the app and copy the 8 characters. The code works for 10 minutes and only once. Only ever enter it on dodo.n3osystem.io. ### What is the difference between “View only” and “View and edit”? “View only” lets Claude or ChatGPT read only. “View and edit” also lets them add tasks, shopping items, expenses and notes, check them off and change dates. Nothing can be deleted through this connection, and shared lists change only where you can edit them. ### Will a task added from Claude remind me on my phone? Yes. The task reaches your phone at the next sync — usually right away, at the latest when you open Dodo — and from then on your phone reminds you about it. ### How do I disconnect Claude or ChatGPT? In the app choose Profile → Claude and ChatGPT → Disconnect. Access ends immediately. You can also remove the connector in Claude or ChatGPT. If Premium ends, the connection stays but shows no data — once you renew, it works again without reconnecting. ### What do Claude and ChatGPT know about my data? Only what you ask about, and only after you connect your Dodo account yourself. From the moment it's sent, Anthropic (Claude) or OpenAI (ChatGPT) processes that data under the terms of your account with them. Our server on Cloudflare only receives what you share with others or sync between your phones, plus requests to the AI assistant.
