Terms of Use
The rules for using the Dodo app and the Dodo Premium subscription.
Contents 15 sections
1Who provides the service
The Dodo app is provided by n3o system sp. z o.o., registered at Podolszynka Plebańska 19A, 37-418 Krzeszów, Poland, KRS 0001094015, tax ID (NIP) 8652585870 — “we”. Contact: systems@n3osystem.io.
These terms set out the rules for using the Dodo app for iPhone and Android and the services connected with it. By downloading the app or creating an account you accept these terms. How we process data is described in the Privacy Policy.
2What Dodo offers
- Free: tasks, notes, shopping and wish lists, expenses, subscriptions and expense splits — stored on your phone, without an account.
- Free account: sign-in with Apple, Google or a one-time e-mail code, a profile, a Dodo ID, and sharing one item of each kind with other people: a task list, a note, a shopping list, a wish list, an expense split and a month of expenses (the latest one).
- Dodo Premium (paid): the AI assistant with a monthly usage pool, sync between your phones, a shared budget, and unlimited shared lists, notes, expense splits and expense months, plus — with an account — the connection to Claude and ChatGPT.
- AI usage packs (paid): extra assistant uses on top of the monthly Premium pool.
3Requirements
Dodo needs an iPhone with a current version of iOS or a phone with Android 9 or later. Accounts, sync, shared lists, e-mails and the AI assistant require an internet connection.
4Account
You create an account yourself by signing in for the first time. We don't use passwords — keep your Apple or Google account or your mailbox safe. People you share lists with will see the first name and photo from your profile. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account); the data on your phone stays.
6Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. This right expires when, at your express request, we start providing the digital service or supplying digital content before that period ends and you acknowledge this. Purchases made in the App Store or Google Play are refunded by the store — request a refund on the store's website (e.g. reportaproblem.apple.com).
7Rules of use
- You are responsible for the content you save and share with others. Dodo must not be used for unlawful content, content that infringes other people's rights, or unsolicited invitations.
- When you invite someone to a shared list, note, budget or expense split, you give them access to its content and changes, according to the rights you grant (edit or view). The owner can remove a person or end sharing at any time; everyone keeps a copy of what was there until then.
- Your content belongs to you. We store and transmit it only as needed for sync, shared lists and the assistant to work.
- Do not disrupt the server or circumvent limits and security measures.
8AI assistant
The assistant's answers and suggestions are generated automatically by an artificial intelligence model. They may contain mistakes, so check them before relying on them — they are not legal, financial or medical advice. Changes to your lists and notes suggested by the assistant are applied only after you accept them.
9Claude and ChatGPT
- With Dodo Premium and an account you can connect Dodo to Claude (Anthropic) or ChatGPT (OpenAI) to ask about your tasks, notes, shopping and expenses there. You connect with a code from the app on the dodo.n3osystem.io page and choose whether the connection is view-only or can also make changes.
- You use Claude and ChatGPT under your agreement with their provider. We are not responsible for how they work, whether they are available on your plan, or the answers they generate — these may contain mistakes.
- With a connection that can make changes, Claude or ChatGPT adds and changes things in Dodo as soon as it calls a tool; it asks for confirmation according to its own settings. Nothing can be deleted through this connection. Shared items are changed only where you have edit rights.
- The connection works only with active Premium and does not use the Dodo AI assistant's usage pool. An abuse limit applies (currently 1,000 calls a day). When Premium expires, the connection stops returning data and works again once you renew.
- You can disconnect at any time in the app (Profile → Claude and ChatGPT → Disconnect).
10Expense splits
Splits in Dodo help work out who owes whom and how much. The calculations are based on amounts entered by users. We do not handle payments between people and are not responsible for settlements made outside the app.
11Liability and availability
We work to keep Dodo running without interruption, but technical breaks may happen, especially in features that need the internet. Data stored on your phone works offline too. We are liable under general rules, to the extent permitted by law; we do not limit our liability towards consumers where the law does not allow it.
12Complaints
Send complaints about how the app works to systems@n3osystem.io, describing the problem and giving your account e-mail (if you have one). We will reply within 14 days. Payment complaints and refunds are handled by the store where you made the purchase.
13Ending the agreement
You can stop using Dodo, delete your account or uninstall the app at any time. Cancel the subscription in the store's settings — Premium keeps working until the end of the paid period. We may block or delete an account that seriously violates these terms, after first asking you to stop, unless the law requires immediate action.
14Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for important reasons, such as changes in law or in the app's features. We will tell you about changes in the app at least 14 days in advance. If you don't agree, you can delete your account and cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.
15Final provisions
These terms are governed by Polish law; if you are a consumer, you keep the protection given to you by the law of the country where you usually live. Disputes are resolved by the competent court under general rules. Consumers in Poland can get free help from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman or the Trade Inspection. In case of discrepancies between language versions, the Polish version prevails.
