Does Dodo connect to my bank account?
No. You add expenses yourself or from a photo of the receipt. Dodo never asks for bank access, so no one but you sees your account.
Is the Dodo budget app free?
Yes. Expenses, categories, limits, subscriptions and Shared Costs are free. Dodo Premium adds receipts from a photo, a shared budget and the AI assistant.
How do receipts from a photo work?
With Dodo Premium, take a photo of a receipt and Dodo fills in the store, date, total and items. Your phone reads the text, and you can check the entry before saving.
Can I share a budget with my partner?
Yes, with Dodo Premium. Share the budget with someone who has a Dodo account — everyone adds expenses on their own phone and the totals are shared.
Can I ask AI about my spending?
Yes. With Dodo Premium, ask the assistant something like “how much did I spend on food this month?” — in the app, or in Claude and ChatGPT once your account is connected.
